Catholic Home Schooling aims above all to educate children in virtue. While all the virtues are under assault in this secular age, the virtue of Chastity is the prime target. We are created body and soul. The soul to reach its final salvation must keep the body in check. This is the virtue of chastity: it does not deny sex but rather it keeps sex from ruling our lives.   Parents as the prime educators of their children have the special obligation to present to them the proper respect for sex. The books offered here have a record of helping parents to present to their children the facts of life in the context of chaste respect for sex as that part of God's plan which provides for the peopling of earth and heaven. To help with younger children we offer Fr. Vernon Satler's Parents, Children and the Facts of Life. This book has been helping parents since 1953.  Two of our most popular books are Listen Son and Mother's Little Helper, each of which contain twelve heart-to-heart talks to be given to children at appropriate ages. 

For the older child, we offer Fr. Paul Quay's The Christian Meaning of Human Sexuality, Fr. Gerald Kelly's Chastity: A Guide for Teens and Fr. Herbert Ratterman's Charity, Sex and the Young Man.
