The question is often asked, "Do colleges accept home schooled students?" Yes, yes, yes! Ivy League, the Military Academies, colleges of all sorts recognize that home schooled students are well prepared, in fact much better prepared, for independent study than the majority of students from traditional schools. That being said, however, the colleges do rely heavily on the standardized test scores. To enhance one's chances of a favorable consideration it doesn't hurt to follow the recommendations and to work the sample tests found in Master the SAT in its current edition.
